Shield ("we", "us") operates shield.ruleforge.uk. Because insurance and money topics involve sensitive information, we built Shield to collect as little as possible. This policy explains exactly how that works.

We do not collect personal information. Every calculator — auto, life, home, and health insurance — runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The age, income, coverage amount, or any other value you enter is processed on your device and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Shield is free because it's supported by ads. We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic (such as pageview counts). These tools do not receive the inputs you type into calculators.

Third-Party Disclosure

Google AdSense may collect data as described in their privacy policy. We do not have access to that data. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone — because we don't collect it in the first place.

Children's Information

Shield does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Your Rights

Since we do not store your personal data, there is nothing to access, export, or delete on our end. The inputs you enter into a calculator remain under your control on your own device — clearing your browser clears them.
